Float down the river sipping on a cool beverage and watch nature go by. Soak up some sunshine , watch Osprey dive for fish, Beavers swimming on the shoreline, and see Great Blue Herons swoop gracefully through the air. Yes, you will see fish
jumping and huge snapping turtles sleeping in the sun.
Where are you ? You are having grand experiences on the Grand River, one of Canada's great Heritage Rivers located in central western Ontario. We do floats in Brantford, Paris to Brantford, Glen Morris to Paris, and Cambridge to Glen Morris.
We have over 10 years of experience bringing the joy and pleasure of the Grand River to thousands of people from across the country and around the world. We are the first and original Grand River rafting company and continue to offer the best service.

We will be able to accomodate a maximum of 120 people per trip. Blue Heron Rafting will supply personal floatation devices, paddles, rafts, complete safety equipment and guides. Naturalists and local historians can be supplied on request.

We will be stopping for lunch along the way.... Bring a lunch and we will carry it for you in our large coolers and stop for a picnic along the way or we can arrange a barbeque for you after the trip.

Moonlight floats will be available. They are aproximately two hours in length. Come and enjoy a romantic float in the moonlight. Gourmet snacks provided! We are also offering a float trip and dinner package.

Do we go rain or shine??

Yes! Very often the weather in the morning is different than the afternoon. Proper dress and a spirit for adventure will ensure an enjoyable expedition under any conditions. No cash refund will be given for cancellation due to weather, however, you will receive a "rain cheque" that is good for one year.

To avoid disappointment, or to reserve that special trip, email us or call us now! We'll check availability, help you choose the best package for your group and take your reservation. We require a deposit of 50% within 7 days of booking to hold your spot.
